Recently, the Public Works Center of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Yushen Energy Chemical Company organized a video coordination meeting prior to the installation of the MAN unit. Participants included the manufacturer of the MAN unit, Hangyang Oxygen Equipment Co., Beiyou Engineering Company, Shaanxi Chemical Construction Company, and Shandong Haohua Engineering Management Company; the meeting was held in the conference room of the company’s administrative office building. This video conference focused primarily on the installation of the MAN unit. First, Beiyou Engineering Company provided a detailed overview of the construction conditions at the site prior to unit installation. Subsequently, the MAN manufacturer outlined the requirements for unit installation as well as safety precautions, emphasizing that the site’s lifting equipment, equipment foundations, and factory temperature must meet the conditions necessary for unit installation. Shandong Haohua Engineering Management Company requested that the arrival of all materials required for installation be verified, while Shaanxi Huajian Company discussed with the manufacturer the tools needed for unit installation. The installation of the turbine unit is an important part of the air separation plant, and the quality of this installation directly affects whether the plant can operate properly. Through this video conference, the general contractor, the manufacturer, and all participating parties conducted a detailed technical briefing on the unit installation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation and commissioning of the unit as well as the smooth operation of the air separation plant. The 500,000 tons per year coal-based ethanol project of Yushen Nenghua is located in the South Area of Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Park, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. This project utilizes a technology for producing ethanol from dimethyl ether through carbonylation, which was developed jointly by Yanchang Petroleum and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of ethanol; the investment amount is 6.98 billion yuan. Construction began on November 6, 2018, with completion scheduled for mid-2021, and full operational capacity and compliance with standards expected to be achieved by 2022. The project is equipped with an air separation unit of grade 80,000; once completed, it will supply oxygen, nitrogen, instrument air, and process air to the various units of Yushen Energy’s 500,000 tons per year coal-based ethanol production facility.
