In the first quarter, a total of 106,829.67 tons of methanol and 17,966.46 tons of LNG were produced, representing 24.878% and 23.21% of the annual targets, respectively. Especially in March, after careful and repeated cost calculations to clarify the approach and develop specific implementation plans, coupled with improved coal supply and the procurement from multiple sources, and through the united efforts of all employees, the company achieved three firsts: for the first time, the daily methanol production volume reached a record high of 1,703 tons! The monthly production for the first time (from March 1 to 31) reached a record high of 50,032.67 tons! For the first time, the designed monthly production volume was achieved with 5 gasification furnaces in operation! Transport of raw coal: Strengthen control at the source to improve coal quality and enhance efficiency. Secondly, improve the management of inspection and maintenance for gasification furnaces, organize maintenance resources effectively, strengthen control over the procurement of maintenance supplies, ensure that spare parts and maintenance materials are available in a timely manner, enhance maintenance efficiency, and strive to achieve a 100% operational rate for the five gasification furnaces. Precise operation of the gasification furnace is ensured through enhanced refined management; regular special analysis meetings are held to thoroughly examine data such as cost components, benchmarking and summaries are conducted, control measures are optimized, and the potential of the facility is tapped in order to further reduce energy consumption and increase production efficiency. As a result, the coal consumption per ton of methanol (including LNG) decreased by 12.01% on an annual basis, steam consumption per ton of methanol (including LNG) dropped by 2.14%, and electricity consumption per ton of methanol (including LNG) fell by 18.56%. Meanwhile, the company’s rate of meeting process performance standards increased by 1.2% on an annual basis. Through comprehensive planning, efforts have been made to advance initiatives aimed at energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as further savings in resources such as coal, water, electricity, and materials. Economic benefit analyses have been conducted thoroughly, and practices that promote thrift have been adopted. Various projects to reduce costs and increase efficiency have been implemented, including the optimization of carbon dioxide product gas filtration processes and the high-pressure cooling water system in YM furnaces. Key tasks such as the construction of separate facilities for different areas, the upgrading of reclaimed water utilization systems, the modification of the water-cooling walls in gasification furnaces, and the upgrading of DCS systems have been identified. Task lists have been prepared, with goals broken down and assigned for implementation, thereby laying the foundation for high and stable production levels.
