From November 14th to 15th, a professional evaluation team composed of Yuan Fengzhen, Deputy General Manager of the Coal Chemicals Division of Jinmei Group and Director of the Coal Chemicals Research Institute; Liu Xiaoguang, Head of the Development Department at Xi’an Aerospace Power Source No. 11 Institute; Xu Zhongqiang, Investment Director of Aerospace Fund Company; and representatives from the expert panel, visited the site of the pilot-scale \"Jinhang Furnace\" project accompanied by Fan Jian, Ma Jinchun, Xue Suomin from Jinfeng Company, as well as Huang Guiping, Manager of the Wenxi branch. They inspected the equipment installation and listened to explanations provided by the project’s technical leaders regarding the structure and principles of the apparatus. Special meetings and exchange sessions were held successively, as well as a review meeting for the process package of the \"Jinhang Furnace\" pilot project. These meetings allowed participants to learn about the progress of the project, understand the process flow and operating principles, and jointly assess the feasibility of the process package. They also provided insights and constructive suggestions for the pilot unit of the \"Jinhang Furnace\", which was about to start trial operations. By listening to detailed explanations provided by the project team regarding the background of the development of the \"Jinhang Furnace\" process package, its key technologies, startup procedures, and the sequence control system, the expert group reviewed the advanced technical achievements of this project, including the \"DCS computer control system\", the \"emergency shutdown system\", as well as functions such as one-click startup, ignition, and automatic operation adjustment. Serious discussions and evaluations were held on the experts’ questions regarding burner ignition, the criteria for determining successful purging, conditions for secondary ignition, and slag discharge control. After thorough discussion and review by the experts present, the expert group unanimously agreed that the content and depth of the pilot plant for the \"Jinhang Furnace\" basically meet the requirements of the \"Standard for Coding Design Documents of Petrochemical Plants\". The process package is designed based on Jincheng anthracite, and in accordance with the basic principles of slag gasification, it takes advantage of the results from preliminary experiments as well as the experience gained from mature industrial installations; thus, the process and control schemes are practical and feasible. The process package successfully incorporates various advanced technologies with independent intellectual property rights, such as \"high ash fusion point anthracite liquid slag discharge\" and \"**** control during the combustion process.\" The process flow is rational and can basically meet all the requirements for tests in the pilot plant. The review results indicate that the \"Jinhang Furnace\" process package is feasible; the review was approved, allowing work to proceed to the next stage. The review panel requested that the operation proposal be further refined, with the completion of the operation manual, analysis manual, as well as the safety assessment of process hazard factors and control measures prior to starting up the system. It also provides guiding suggestions for future process design, such as considering the impact of high-temperature gas on pipe fittings and options for utilizing high-temperature waste heat. .
