The reporter learned that coking, the chemical industry, and equipment manufacturing are the traditional competitive industries in our province. In particular, the coking industry, as an important pillar industry in our province, has maintained a market share of over 20% in the national coke market for many years in a row. As a pilot zone for comprehensive reforms in the energy revolution, our province bears the task of establishing a green coking industry base, facing significant responsibilities and arduous challenges. Last year, the province’s coke production amounted to 98.57 million tons, generating an output value of 296.6 billion yuan. The chemical industry contributed 113.4 billion yuan to this total; together, these two industries accounted for one-quarter of the province’s total manufacturing output value and one-third of its total manufacturing profits. They truly serve as the \"ballast\" of the province’s industrial economy. “In line with the requirement to promote high-quality development in all aspects, it is expected that by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the proportion of advanced coking production capacity across the province will rise to over 95%. The water-cooled wall semi-waste-boiler gasifier for water-coal slurry, produced by Lu’an Chemical Machinery Group – also known as the well-known Jinhua Furnace 3.0 – likewise provides a range of technologies and equipment to support the achievement of our province’s ‘dual carbon’ goals. “Currently, the Jinhua furnace 3.0 can generate 1.5 tons of high-quality steam from the coal fed into it; the equivalent amount of standard coal for this steam production corresponds to a reduction of 0.18 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. ”Li Meijing, deputy general manager of the sales company of Lu’an Chemical Machinery Group, explained that the Jinhua Furnace 3.0 can be widely applied in various fields such as coal-based synthetic ammonia production, coal-based olefin production, coal-based methanol production, coal-based ethylene glycol production, coal-based natural gas production, coal-based oil production, coal-based hydrogen production, as well as the co-processing of solid waste. At present, the company is capable of producing a variety of gasification furnaces, with full coverage in the manufacturing of key equipment for gasification islands; the localization rate for the main equipment in coal gasification systems reaches 100%. On site, many companies expressed a strong desire to acquire technology and equipment in Shanxi. “Today, I learned about many new intelligent and environmentally friendly devices and technologies on site. ”Li Jun said, \"As the demand side, after concluding a successful contract with Taizhong Group, we hope to introduce and purchase more advanced equipment in order to produce more products labeled ‘Made in Shanxi’ in an efficient, clean, and safe manner.\" ” The reporter learned that at the promotion event, companies such as Taizhong Group and Lu’an Chemical Machinery Group signed cooperation agreements with customer representatives, with the intended value of these collaborations reaching 3.15 billion yuan.
