Recently, the unmanned system for vehicle weighing at New Tian Coal Chemical was put into operation after 2 months of preparatory work and modifications, followed by 3 months of trial use. After the system was put into use, the weighing process became fully automated, enabling integrated management of automatic and intelligent weighing. The successful operation of this system has standardized the weighing business processes at Xintian Coal Chemical Industry, improved the efficiency of business operations, and taken a solid step forward in helping the company enhance its quality and efficiency, achieve more standardized management, and build a smart factory. This system makes full use of the existing scale infrastructure, upgrades the current computer hardware and software systems, and adds subsystems such as image capture and video surveillance, vehicle positioning, voice command, traffic light and gate control, as well as weighing management. It enables automatic and reliable collection, automatic identification, automatic command, automatic processing, and automatic control of measurement data throughout the weighing process. Image: In response to the problems identified in Xintian Coal Chemical’s traditional weighing operations, the relevant officials at Xintian Coal Chemical implemented the company’s requirements for the \"Year of Style Building\", organized a team dedicated to technical upgrades, and after conducting numerous market surveys and discussions, developed a solution for upgrading the weighbridges to an unattended automatic weighing system. This solution is tailored to the actual weighing requirements of Xintian Coal Chemical Industry, by developing a new weighing software for the existing scales. Utilizing card-reading technology, it automatically identifies vehicle information once the vehicle arrives at the scale, and prints the weight report automatically after the weighing process is complete. At the same time, the weighing data from the system can be uploaded to the company’s local network, enabling data sharing, automatic calculation of weighing data, and accurate measurement of weights. The system also allows for one-click switching between manual weighing and automatic weighing; in the event of a failure in the automatic weighing system, manual weighing can be carried out on the spot. Images: Currently, 4 sets of unattended vehicle scale systems are operating well. In the future, once the 4 weighbridges for the company’s closed coal plant project are completed, the data from them will be integrated into the existing unattended management system. This will enable seamless sharing and unified management of the data from all the weighbridges in the plant, further improving the level of automated weighing.
