On April 25, the commissioning ceremony for the recycled water treatment equipment as part of Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd.’s 3 million tons per year coal coking project was held in the membrane processing facility of that project. He stated that in the subsequent project construction, he would lead the project team to contribute to the further development of Ningxia Baofeng Energy. It is reported that the water treatment project associated with Ningxia Baofeng Energy’s 3 million tons per year coal coking facility was constructed by the Northwest Project Department of Jilin Chemical Construction. Since the project started on May 20, 2021, it has taken 11 months to complete key construction tasks such as 114,000 cubic meters of earthwork excavation, 4,256 tons of rebar binding, 38,850 cubic meters of concrete pouring, 1,491 cubic meters of masonry work, installation of 162 process devices, and prefabrication and installation of 14,000 equivalents of process pipelines. The project successfully achieved the target objectives of successful power supply to the substation, successful commissioning, and qualified water production on three separate occasions: April 16, April 22, and April 25. Project Overview: Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. has invested 3.4 billion yuan to build a \"3 million tons per year coal coking integrated production project\" within the existing factory premises in Area B of the Baofeng Energy Circular Economy Industrial Park, located in the Linhe Industrial Zone of the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base. This project is one of the first major projects to be carried out in the Ningdong base in 2020. The design capacity of the new two coke ovens and their associated facilities is 3 million tons of coke per year; the oven type selected is a 4x65-hole, 6.25-meter side-loading tamped coke oven. The main engineering components include a coal storage and preparation system, a coking system (including wet quenching of coke, coke screening, surface dust removal stations, and flue gas desulfurization and denitrification for coke ovens), as well as supporting facilities such as a gas purification and recovery system. This project features a high degree of integration, a complete downstream industrial chain, a wide range of applications for raw coal with high utilization efficiency, significant scale advantages, and enhanced profitability. Once the project is completed and put into operation, Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd.’s coking production capacity will reach 7 million tons per year, making it one of the largest independent coking enterprises in China and contributing to the development of the coking industry in a direction that emphasizes clean and efficient production methods. At the same time, the integrated circular economy industry chain involving coal, coke, gas, chemicals, oil, and electricity has been strengthened, enabling the transformation of coal resources from fuel to chemical raw materials as well as their clean and efficient utilization.
