Sinochem International invests 5 billion yuan in the Ruiheng Carbon Three project! On September 14, Sinochem International announced that the Issuance Examination Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission had reviewed the company’s application for private stock issuance. Based on the review results, Sinochem International’s application for this private stock issuance has been approved. To date, Sinochem International has not received any written approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission; the company will issue a separate announcement once it receives the official approval document from the commission. On the evening of March 25, Sinochem International disclosed a plan for the private issuance of A-share stocks. Sinochem International plans to raise a total amount of no more than 5 billion yuan (including this amount). After deducting the relevant issuance costs, these funds are intended to be used for the “Phase I Project of the Carbon Three Industry” (3.5 billion yuan) and to supplement working capital (1.5 billion yuan). The recipients of this private placement of shares are no more than 35 specific investors who meet the requirements set by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, including Sinochem Corporation, the company’s controlling shareholder. Among them, Sinochem Corporation intends to subscribe for an amount of shares that is proportional to its shareholding in the company prior to this issuance, based on that proportion; the subscription amount will be equal to the number of shares subscribed multiplied by the issue price, and it shall not exceed 2.71 billion yuan. The final amount to be subscribed and the number of shares to be acquired will be determined by the company’s board of directors and its authorized representatives, in accordance with the authority granted by the shareholders’ meeting, through consultation with Sinochem Corporation based on market conditions. The main contractor for the construction of the first phase of Sinochem International’s C3 industry project is Jiangsu Ruiheng. With propane dehydrogenation as the core of its industrial chain, it expands downstream to build facilities for producing C3 derivatives such as propylene oxide, chloropropylene oxide, phenol, and bisphenol A. This project enables the mutual supply and comprehensive utilization of raw materials across the upstream and downstream stages of the industry, as well as the shared use of auxiliary facilities. It fully taps into various resources to enhance efficiency and complete the industrial chain. Sinochem International stated that once the funds raised this time are in place, the company’s total assets and net assets will increase. Since the benefits of the construction projects are not evident in the short term, there is a possibility that the company’s earnings per share and return on equity could be diluted. As the investment projects funded by these proceeds are implemented gradually and the expected goals are achieved step by step, the company’s revenue, total profit, and other financial indicators will see steady growth ; At the same time, the company’s debt-to-asset ratio will decrease, which will help to further strengthen the company’s capital strength, optimize its capital structure, and reduce financial risks, thereby facilitating the company’s stable operation and sustainable healthy development. Overall, the company’s profitability and risk resistance capabilities will be further enhanced, and its overall strength will increase even more.
