From May 30 to June 1, the review meeting for the process package of the gasification unit in the hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis project at Guangxi Hengyi was successfully held at Guizhou Aerospace Maiwei Technology Co., Ltd. Shen Fei, General Manager of Guangxi Hengyi New Materials Co., Ltd., Zhao Jingyi, Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Aerospace Maiwei Technology Co., Ltd., as well as relevant technical staff from our company attended this review meeting. The meeting began with a detailed presentation by Aerospace Maiwei on various aspects, including an overview of the overall design of the process package, the principles of coal gasification and related gasification technologies, the PID diagrams for the processes and instruments, the selection of gasification instruments and interlocks, the structural principles of key equipment in the gasification unit along with the selection of mechanical equipment, suggested layout plans for the equipment, as well as common problems that may arise during on-site construction and installation in previous projects and the precautions to take. Subsequently, the participants conducted a thorough review of the process package design documents. Based on the review comments, they discussed each item and prepared an attachment containing the responses. The gasification unit of this project utilizes the SpaceMaiwei coal semi-waste boiler gasification technology, which enables full recovery and utilization of the high-temperature thermal energy in the crude syngas, while ensuring technical reliability and long-term stable operation of the unit. This project filled a gap in our company’s dry powder coal gasification projects in recent years. It has provided valuable technical experience for the design of similar projects in the future, laying a solid foundation for the company to further expand its market presence. Guangxi Hengyi New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project for the integrated production of 1.2 million tons of caprolactam and polyamides per year, along with related facilities. Project owner: Guangxi Hengyi New Materials Co., Ltd. Nature of the project: new construction. Location: Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park, Guangxi. Land area: The total planned land area is 166.67 hectares, of which 113.34 hectares are allocated for Phase 1 and 53.33 hectares for Phase 2. Total investment: 22 billion yuan, of which 14 billion yuan is for Phase 1 and 8 billion yuan for Phase 2. The investment in environmental protection amounts to 350 million yuan for Phase 1 and 330 million yuan for Phase 2, totaling 680 million yuan. Annual operating hours: 8,000 hours. Production system and staffing: Continuous production; the facility operates on a four-shift basis. The staffing for Phase 1 is 600 people, while the total staffing for all phases is 300 people. Construction period: The construction period for Phase I is 36 months; it will be put into operation in December 2023. The construction period for Phase II is 24 months, with operations scheduled to commence in 2025.
