On May 2, Shaanxi Yueneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony in the Qingshui Industrial Park of the Yushen Industrial Zone for the first phase of this project, which aims to produce 400,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year from coal; this marks the start of the full-scale construction of the ethylene glycol production facility, with the project now entering the actual construction phase. The commencement ceremony was presided over by Lu Xuehua, the company’s general manager, while Zhang Jixiao, the deputy general manager of the group company and the company’s chairman, announced the start of construction.
