On July 1, the National Construction Project Environmental Information Disclosure Platform released the first disclosure regarding the demonstration project on the comprehensive utilization of low-temperature liquefied hydrogen produced through off-grid hydrogen production by Hebei Hongmeng Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Construction details: This project aims to establish a hydrogen production facility equipped with alkaline and PEM electrolyzers capable of producing 2,000 or 3,000 standard cubic meters of hydrogen per hour. The total hydrogen production capacity will be 240,000 standard cubic meters per hour, with an annual output of 140,000 tons of green hydrogen. A hydrogen liquefaction unit with a capacity of 30 tons per day will also be constructed as part of the project. Additionally, corresponding infrastructure such as workshops, roads, and power transmission lines will be built. Public information shows that the demonstration project for the comprehensive utilization of hydrogen produced through off-grid methods via low-temperature liquefaction requires a total investment of 10.4 billion yuan. The project includes 6 power generation facilities with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts (wind power projects), as well as hydrogen production plants. Among them, the total investment in the project for the comprehensive utilization of cryogenically liquefied hydrogen produced off-grid is 3.49 billion yuan.
