On March 25, the first public disclosure of the environmental impact assessment information for Fujian Yaxin Electronic Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 40,000 tons per year of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride was made. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Project to produce 40,000 tons per year of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride； Construction unit: Fujian Yaxin Electronic Materials Co., Ltd ； Construction location: Fubao Area, Fluorine New Materials Industrial Park, Qingliu Economic Development Zone, Qingliu County, Sanming City, Fujian Province ； Construction contents: This project covers an area of approximately 6,200 square meters (using the previously approved land). It involves the construction of new production facilities for electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride along with associated structures, as well as the acquisition of equipment such as drying ovens, reaction reactors, hot air furnaces, pretreatment towers, purification towers, refrigerators, and facilities for ensuring safety and environmental protection. The project aims to establish a production facility capable of producing 40,000 tons per year of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride (99.999% HF). Regarding Fujian Yaxin Electronic Materials Co., Ltd.: Located in the Fubao area of the Fluorine New Materials Industrial Park in Qingliu County, the company was established in 2018. It focuses on the manufacturing of materials specialized for electronic use, as well as the production of basic chemical raw materials and the sale of specialty chemicals. The company holds numerous technical patents, including those related to specialized equipment such as automatic sampling devices and mist removal systems. The company holds a license to handle hazardous chemicals and possesses specialized qualifications in the field of electronic material production.
