Update date: 2024-12-20     Recently, Luxi Chemical announced that the first phase of a silicone production project with an annual capacity of 1 million tons and a total investment of 3.2 billion yuan will begin construction in the Liaocheng High-Tech Industrial Zone.     It is reported that the project covers an area of 140,080 square meters, with a building area of 147,100 square meters. It is expected to produce 1 million tons of silicone monomers, 450,000 tons of mixed methylsiloxanes, and 400,000 tons of silicone rubber per year, as well as various downstream products resulting from further processing.     It is understood that silicone materials are not only used as specialty materials in the aviation, cutting-edge technology, and military sectors, but their application scope has also expanded to industries such as construction, electronics and electrical engineering, textiles, automotive manufacturing, machinery, leather and paper production, chemical and light industry, metals and paints, as well as medicine and healthcare.
