Completion of the first phase of Sichuan Zhongqi Energy’s project to produce 13,000 tons of high-purity electronic-grade gases per year – 2025-06-18 17:47:21. On June 17, the monitoring report regarding the environmental impact assessment for the completion of the first phase of Sichuan Zhongqi Energy New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 13,000 tons of high-purity electronic-grade gases per year was made public. It is understood that Sichuan Zhongqi New Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd. occupies an area of approximately 199.81 mu in the Yongxing area of the Ya’an Economic Development Zone in Sichuan Province. With an investment of 500 million yuan, the company is building a facility capable of producing 13,000 tons per year of high-purity electronic-grade gases. Once completed, the facility will be able to produce 5,000 tons per year of high-purity sulfur hexafluoride, 2,500 tons per year of carbon tetrafluoride, 5,000 tons per year of nitrogen trifluoride, 300 tons per year of octafluoropropane, and 200 tons per year of fluorine gas mixtures. The scope of this acceptance inspection includes the first phase of Sichuan Zhongqi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.’s project for producing 13,000 tons per year of high-purity electronic-grade gases. This phase mainly involves sulfur hexafluoride production lines, carbon tetrafluoride production lines, as well as related facilities. The main products are 5,000 tons per year of high-purity sulfur hexafluoride, 2,500 tons per year of carbon tetrafluoride, and 5,000 tons per year of nitrogen trifluoride. Based on the acceptance monitoring and investigations, the project construction is in line with **relevant industry policies and local development plans. During the construction process, all the pollution control measures specified in the environmental impact assessment report and its approvals were basically implemented; all pollutants are discharged within the permitted limits, in compliance with the basic principles of total emission control, and the environmental risks are at a controllable level. The public is supportive of the project construction. The project construction has a minimal impact on the surrounding environment and meets the acceptance criteria.
