Backflow tower blockage

The carbon steel wire mesh packing used in this unit contains used engine oil, which reacts with the chlorine present in the material; as a result, the pressure difference in the reflux tower is currently high, and it is suspected that this is caused by blockage of the packing. Is there any good way to solve this?
You might consider reducing the load a bit first to see
Is it chlorine corrosion or ammonium chloride crystallization?
Is the material waste engine oil? How could chlorine be mixed in? Pre-treatment processes such as stripping and distillation should be employed first to remove chlorine gas
