Looking at the literature, HPLC pumps are mentioned. 1. What are the advantages of using an HPLC pump as the power pump for transporting liquids in experiments compared to ordinary pumps? 2. If the experiment is conducted at room temperature and normal pressure, will there be significant fluctuations in flow rate when using a regular pump, whereas an HPLC pump can maintain a stable flow rate? 3. What is the approximate price of an HPLC pump? 4. How is it connected to the experimental equipment when in use?
HPLC uses a plunger pump, which belongs to the category of positive displacement pumps; I’m not sure what kind of pump you mean by an ordinary pump
