The base height of the pump is 300 mm, but must the base of larger pumps be higher in order to prevent vibration?

The height you see here is the basic height required for the manufacturing processes; this height takes into account the need to install drain valves and filters at the pump’s inlet and outlet, as well as flow meters – in particular Y-type filters and mass flow meters for measuring the liquid flow. It also accounts for the requirements related to spring supports in thermal pipelines. In fact, aside from the 300 mm above the ground level that you can see, there is also a main structural framework underground. To prevent vibrations, anchor bolts, shock absorbers, and cast iron supports are the key components used to transmit and absorb vibrations. The vibrations absorbed by these supports are ultimately transmitted to the main foundation through the anchor bolts. So, the 300 mm of foundation you see is just the tip of the iceberg; it represents only the part of the foundation that extends above the ground. There is still a main structural framework underground. To reiterate, the height above the ground is the basic height required for the manufacturing processes, but it isn’t the entire foundation of the pump.
With the pump shaft as the center, the distance from it to the bottom of the bracket represents the installation height of the pump
