Is it true that, when compared under the same conditions, vertical motors have a greater axial play than horizontal motors?
Wrong; in many vertical pumps, the motor has no axial movement, and the bearing at the drive end is fixed.
Vertical motors are divided into B5 and V1! V1 is an upright type, meaning the motor shaft extends downward and is installed vertically using a flange. B5 is horizontal, meaning the motor shaft extends horizontally and is mounted using flanges. So sometimes, if the customer wants a vertical motor, it’s necessary to determine whether it’s B5 or V1. Apart from the possible difference in bearing type, V1 and B5 also have an additional rain cover at the tail end
