Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. is currently accelerating the production of a batch of hydrogen fuel cell Corolla Bus vehicles, which will provide green and low-carbon transportation solutions for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. This system consists of a 74KW hydrogen fuel cell and a high-pressure hydrogen storage system with a pressure of 70MPa; it can store 8 kilograms of hydrogen, allowing for a driving range of up to 600 kilometers. The aforementioned high-pressure hydrogen storage system was developed and manufactured by Chengdu Yihuatong. It features carbon fiber fully wrapped type-3 gas cylinders with 70MPa aluminum alloy liners, offering advantages such as low compression energy consumption, fast charging and discharging speeds, And high safety and reliability. As part of the project titled \"Research on Key Technologies for High-Pressure On-Vehicle Hydrogen Storage Systems and Industrialization Demonstration,\" it has been selected as a major research project by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology for 2021. These hydrogen fuel cell buses manufactured in Sichuan will provide low-carbon, comfortable, and efficient transportation services for athletes and spectators from around the world during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
