One of the bottom pump units in our plant (with a flow rate of 100 m3/h, pressure of 2.4 MPa, temperature of 338°C, and head of 240 m) seized within less than a minute after its bearings were repaired and replaced. Could you help analyze the reason for this?
One of the bottom pump units in our plant (with a flow rate of 100 m3/h, pressure of 2.4 MPa, temperature of 338°C, and head of 240 m) stopped working after less than a minute of operation following bearing replacement; could you help analyze the reason? The pump had already experienced one instance of the impeller back cover loosening before this bearing replacement.
It’s likely there’s a problem with the bearing positioning on the non-drive side
