Why does the Sinopec catalytic anti-coking specification call for reducing the steam seal switching time and the time required for adding large quantities of additives?

As the title suggests, the standard states that reducing the temperature drop in the reverse regeneration system helps to minimize coking. I would like to ask everyone: what is the reason for this?
This does not affect coking. Personal opinion.
I also feel that it has little impact on coking, after all, no feed is being supplied
This is correct; it was also observed during equipment inspections that in settlers, wherever the temperature drops significantly, coking occurs more severely! Such as the joints of the lining, areas where the lining is thinned out, or areas with poor circulation!
So what’s stated in the specifications is correct; I just can’t figure out why
While reducing the time required for switching the gas seal and for large-scale feeding, no oil and gas entered the reaction system, so the conditions necessary for coking did not occur. I think the compilers wanted to show that these times have been reduced, implying that the time required for the reaction system to reach a higher temperature has increased; and with a higher temperature in the reaction system, the likelihood of coking is reduced!
