Can nickel-based alloy supports be welded directly inside a nickel-based alloy composite tank, and what is the typical weight limit for such supports? I haven’t been able to find an answer lately; can anyone help solve this?
I recently worked on a project involving composite steel plates made of nickel-based alloys; support components had to be welded inside the tank, and they were very heavy. I’m not sure how to address the issue of providing support for them
If the weight is too heavy, the composite layer can be removed; it’s also possible to weld the support components directly to the base layer
Is it necessary to use shims or something similar? Is the material of these shims a nickel-based alloy? What is the load-bearing capacity of typical explosive composite panels?

The nickel-based alloy layer is too thin; its strength is insufficient, and it’s also difficult to determine its load-bearing capacity. Either use what was suggested on the 3rd floor, or add a ring of nickel-based alloy reinforcement around the support area and then weld the support in place
How heavy is ‘very heavy’? What is the diameter of the tank? What is the base layer of composite panels? What is the coating thickness?
