Liquid level of the acidic gas separation tank

In the acidic gas separator tank I have in place, sometimes when the liquid level is between 20–30%, that 20–30% corresponds to water that has been separated out. For some reason, it isn’t necessary for us to remove this water; its level decreases automatically. What could be the reason for this? Please ask an expert to explain it
Isn’t all of your sour water recycled?
Are you referring to the acidic aqueous liquid tank in the sulfur recovery unit? Usually, this tank is equipped with heat tracing, and it may be heated before entering the sulfur production furnace along with the acidic gases.

It is an acidic gas separation tank used for dehydration before the sulfur furnace; at present our heating system is not in use, and sometimes there is no liquid level in the tank, while at other times it is necessary to pump the liquid out
How big is the liquid removal tank? Is it horizontal or vertical? Where are the inlets and outlets for acidic gas at the tank? If the liquid removal tank is small and the positions of the inlet and outlet are not appropriate, it is easy for acidic gases entering the furnace to be carried in, which may lead to the phenomenon you mentioned. It is recommended to check it.
