How is an electronic handwritten signature created in CAD? I often see drawings from various design firms, where the signatures at the bottom of the drawings are not handwritten; instead, they take the form of a graphic element that gives an appearance similar to handwriting when printed. I don’t know how it was done either. Could someone tell me? This post was last edited by helene on 2009-3-24 17:22.]
1. Write your name in bold, using a black ink pen on a piece of white paper; the thicker and more distinctive the handwriting, the better. Then take a photo of the paper with the name on it using a digital camera, edit it in PHOTOSHOP to keep only the black text, and save it as a JPG file. 2. Process it using vector graphics software (there are many such programs), and save it as a DWF file. 3. Open it in CAD; you can either use it as a block or not
I wrote it directly using the CAD drawing commands. If not satisfied, the strokes can be modified and then grouped.
The method mentioned above is great, but it’s quite troublesome for those who don’t know how to use PHOTOSHOP. One can use all the drawing tools built into the computer to write their own name, and then proceed with steps 2 and 3 mentioned above. But the downside is that if it’s not written well, it doesn’t look much like one’s own signature.
Hehe, sorry, I just joined the forum and am not very familiar with it; I’m referring to the method mentioned on floor 2
As mentioned on the 5th floor, I really don’t use PS. I heard from a colleague that there’s a small software that can convert scanned names directly into CAD blocks; I’m not sure what it is. With sign language, it’s difficult to achieve the effect of a signature. I have never even come across the vector software mentioned on the 3rd floor.
I’ve learned it. Everyone upstairs is so amazing
:I won’t use it either, O(∩_∩)O~

Signatures can be created using signature-making software; it’s very simple. I have it here and would like to share it with everyone. :L :L :L :L Uploading is not allowed; I’m stunned. Those who need it can contact me on QQ at 392554724. This post was last edited by wljlxh123 on 2009-3-25 08:24.]
