Can a gimbal system be used for loading and unloading salt, acids, and liquid alkalis?
At least I’ve seen salt; it’s not acid. It’s a plastic hose that leads to an inlet on the tank, which is then sealed off with tape, allowing the liquid to flow into the tank by gravity.

Optional accessories for the universal filling pipeline system include ball valves, quick-connect fittings, loose-flange connections, emergency shut-off valves (domestic or imported), and quantitative loading control systems, etc. The universal filling pipeline system allows for the selection of materials based on the medium being handled. Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, and carbon steel lined with PTFE. The nominal diameter range for liquid pipelines is DN50–DN200, while that for gas pipelines is DN25–DN100. The design temperature range is from -196°C to +300°C, and the design pressure ranges from 1.0 to 10 MPa. What we have done: For sulfuric acid, a small unloading intermediate tank is used for unloading, while a land-based fluid loading arm is used for loading. Caustic soda, handled in the same way as sulfuric acid. Additionally, petrochemical regulations impose strict rules on flammable liquids, liquefied hydrocarbons, etc.; it’s worth taking a look at them when the time comes.
For acids and bases, self-dumping trucks are recommended; see the «Storage and Transportation Design Manual». Loading should follow the standards set by the Ministry of Chemical Industry; since there are hoses designed for producing linings, they are most likely used for loading purposes.
