The project plans to install an air separation unit with a capacity of 40,000 units; the purity of the oxygen required is not very high – ≥90% is sufficient. Please analyze whether deep cooling should be achieved using PSA technology, and what would be the approximate investment costs for each approach
For our 6500 unit, the air separation system costs 22 million, and the investment in compressors and turbines amounts to 40,000; it’s estimated to be over 100 million
Are you pressure swing adsorption? If it’s cryogenic, it seems to cost 200 million
We are Deep Cold; I have worked on projects of 28,000 units, and those on a scale of 52,000 units are quite large
For an oxygen content of 90%, the specific consumption of the two methods is estimated to be similar~~ However, the initial investment and ongoing maintenance costs for cryogenic air separation are higher; if you have customers who need high-purity nitrogen or argon, then cryogenic nitrogen production could be considered~~
