When our bodies are in a state of metabolism, it represents a heavy load on the body, and it is also the time when metabolism is at its peak; I hope everyone will make use of this period. The beginning of breakfast is the first glass of water upon waking up in the morning. The first glass of water upon waking up is important for healthy people, and even more so for pregnant women. We usually tell you very carefully that this first glass of water is life-saving water; you might find it too frightening – I feel like my pores are standing on end at the thought of it, and it’s uncomfortable. But in simpler terms, we’re talking about healthy water. After a night of metabolic activity, the body needs to be cleansed of all its waste products. To carry out this cleansing process, we need an external force, and that force is a glass of clean water. Our cells are like dry sponges; once water enters them, they absorb it and excrete it within about 40 minutes. This process of excreting water is part of the body’s metabolic functions, and it is what we refer to as detoxification. After eliminating the body’s waste, the food we consume becomes nutrients that can be absorbed by the body; therefore, this glass of water in the morning is very important. Some people say that in the morning one should drink honey water or plain water. The H2O we are talking about contains no sugar or other nutrients; it is simply excreted from the body after being consumed. If we drink honey water, it contains sugar, and there is a process of transformation within the body, which prevents the rapid removal of waste from our bodies. This is why it is important to drink this clear water in the morning. There are three popular types of water to drink in the morning; the first is clear water, which is essential for detoxification. The second glass of water is lemonade. What is the value of this lemonade? It’s because lemons are sour, which helps stimulate our appetite in the morning; at the same time, their molecules are very small, so they do not interfere with our metabolic processes and help to eliminate water from the body. There’s also a cup of water, which is lightly salted water. In fact, it has been recommended for years to drink a cup of such water in the morning, and it is very beneficial for people who suffer from constipation. This clear water can help reduce the viscosity of blood for us older people. Here, I would like to use the words of a future mother: these water molecules are involved during the midday hours; from midnight to noon is the period when sunlight shines, and it is a time of peak metabolic activity. It is during this time that blood viscosity problems tend to arise most frequently. Whether it’s young people, the elderly, or children, everyone suffers from dehydration, which is why we usually drink this water. This is precisely why the first glass of water is so important: when you drink it while getting up at night, it reduces the risk of heart and blood vessel problems. In this way, we inadvertently achieve a form of maintenance for our health, and more importantly, our health becomes of higher quality. Today, as we talk about pregnancy and this water, those who are used to getting up at night should drink it then, while those who are not used to doing so should drink it in the morning. Someone asked me a very practical question: What water do you drink? I have also drunk a lot of water; for example, when it comes to mineral water, I don’t stick to just one brand. What people really worry about when paying close attention to the water they drink is its source – they prefer to choose water that is clear. I suggest that when drinking mineral water, one should try different brands, as different brands come from various sources, and these sources can complement each other. If you drink water from one particular brand, it will always be water from that same source, which is rather monotonous. Especially during pregnancy, when we need trace elements in the water, it’s important to change the water regularly; this is essential for obtaining a high-quality water source as well as sufficient trace elements.
