Dear teachers: 1. For the mapping of mechanical seals, if the customer provides limited parameters, how should an appropriate rotation speed be selected for the dynamic pressure test? 2. What level of leakage is considered acceptable in a dynamic pressure test?
The rotational speed is the operating speed in the field. The factory test for pump seals shall last no less than 5 hours; pressure, speed, temperature of the testing medium, and leakage amount shall be measured and recorded every hour ； The kettle seal must be maintained for at least 6 hours, with the above data recorded hourly.
What if special circumstances arise and the operating speed at the site is unknown? How should the test speed be set?
It is still necessary to verify the operating speed with the customer. Otherwise, how can the end-face specific pressure be kept constant?
