Can the signal output by a thermal resistor or thermocouple be connected directly to a PLC for control without going through a transmitter? What potential risks could there be?
Thermistors output resistance signals, while thermocouples output mV signals. PLCs cannot receive these signals directly; they need to be converted into standard current or voltage signals first....
Are there any control modules that can directly accept such signals and participate in control without the need for signal conversion?
It has thermal resistor and thermocouple input modules, so a temperature transmitter is not required.
Then choose a PLC with thermal resistor and thermocouple modules...
