The reformation pre-hydrogenation throughput is 10% above the designed value, and the stripping tower does not perform well. Many methods have been tried, but with little effect
Report to superiors that the dry point of straight-run naphtha has decreased. The stripper probably doesn’t have much flexibility.
First, find a manufacturer capable of performing online analysis of the tray to check whether it is clogged; Second, consult tray manufacturers for an assessment and get recommendations to switch to Xinxing floating valves, with the intention of replacing the trays during the major maintenance
The processing volume has increased, reaching 110% of the designed value. The bottom temperature was increased and the reflux was enhanced, but still a large amount of heavy components were drawn off at the tower top. The purity of the product extracted from the bottom of the tower is not high enough. The quality is barely acceptable at the moment. I was wondering if there are any other methods
You can’t buy a BMW with QQ money; the amount of design work determines the amount of processing required. Replace it with a new type of float valve
The function of the reformation stripping tower is to remove sulfur and water. Its tray efficiency is quite low, and its ability to separate components is weak; this performance depends heavily on the nature of the components. Many designs employ full reflux operation. Is the stripping tower in the plant in question a combination of a stripping tower and a fractional distillation tower? If it’s a two-in-one type, it becomes more complicated; we need to see if it’s possible to require the front unit to minimize the amount of C5 components in the feed material, as less of these components will make separation easier.
