Safety hazards in gas stations – General hazards: 1. The distance from industrial enterprises’ railways is less than 20 meters. 2. The distance to other roads is less than 10m. 3. The distance between the discharge pipe of the station’s centralized discharge device and the overhead power lines is less than 1.5 times the height of the pole. 4. Major hazard 5: The distance from residential areas, villages, or public welfare facilities with 10 or more people is less than 30 meters. 6. The distance from scattered houses with fewer than 100 people is less than 30m. 7. The distance from adjacent factories and mining enterprises is less than 30m. 8. The distance from explosive operation sites (such as quarries) is less than 300 m. 9. The distance from the **railway is less than 30m. 10. The distance from the highway is less than 20m. 11. The distance from independent substations of 35 kV and above is less than 30 m. Safety hazards related to buried pipes – General hazards: 12. The clear distance between pipes that intersect is less than 0.3 m, and no insulating separation measures have been employed ; Or those with a minimum clear distance of less than 0.5m from non-metallic pipes ; The clear distance between pipes and cables is less than 0.5 m. 13. When passing under a railway via a casing, the minimum thickness of the covering layer at the top of the casing shall be less than 1.7 m below the railway shoulder, and less than 1.0 m below the ground surface or drainage ditch ; When passing under a railway with a casing, the burial depth of the pipeline in low-lying areas near roads or railways is less than 0.9 m. 14. When the pipeline passes directly beneath a railway, the distance between the top of the pipeline and the railway is less than 1.2 m. 15. When the pipeline passes directly under a highway, the distance between the top of the pipeline and the highway surface is less than 1.0 m. 16. Steel pipes intersect with pipes carrying corrosive media, or pass through industrial wastewater and corrosive soil. 17. The burial depth does not meet the design requirements; various forms of support and hydraulic protection are damaged, and the overhead sections are severely corroded. 18. Steel pipelines are affected by AC and DC interference, and no current dissipation measures have been taken; or even after such measures are implemented, the requirements are not met. 19. The pipeline route is enclosed, and within 5 meters (inclusive) on both sides of the outer edge of the pipe walls for ultra-high pressure, high pressure, and sub-high pressure pipelines, and within 0.7 meters (inclusive) on both sides of the outer edge of the pipe walls for medium and low pressure pipelines, the area is occupied by buildings such as residential houses, fences, and sheds; furthermore, activities that may affect geological stability are carried out inside these buildings, or there is a large concentration of people there. 20. The distance between the steel pipeline and the grounding electrode of the 110 kV tower or pole is less than 5.0 m. 26. The distance between the steel pipeline and the grounding electrode of the 220 kV transmission tower or pole is less than 10.0 m. 27. The distance between the steel pipeline and the grounding electrode of a 10kV power station or substation is less than 5 m. 28. The distance between the steel pipeline and the grounding electrode of a 35kV power plant or substation is less than 10 m. 29. The distance between the steel pipeline and the grounding electrode of the 110 kV power station or substation is less than 15 m. 30. The distance between the pipeline and the grounding electrode of the 220kV power station or substation is less than 30 m. 31. Places or structures where more than 20 people stay regularly, which block pipelines that have been occupied for over 10 years. 32. Garbage and excess sludge with a height of over 2m occupy and block the pipes. 33. Large machinery and heavy vehicles block the pipelines. 34. Road surface markings for pipelines are missing, damaged, or incorrect. Major hazard 35: Pipes that intersect directly with urban rainwater (sewage) pipelines, as well as pipelines for heating, electricity, and communications, without any protective measures in place. 36. Gas pipelines that run across highways and railways and have a service life of over 30 years, are impossible to inspect, and difficult to repair. 37. Steel pipelines passing through roads or railway sections where cathodic protection has failed. 38. Mechanical excavation, drilling, blasting, and other types of construction activities carried out by third parties are permitted within 5 meters on either side of the outer edge of the pipe wall for ultra-high pressure, high pressure, and sub-high pressure pipelines, and within 0.7 meters on either side of the outer edge of the pipe wall for medium and low pressure pipelines. 39. Geological disasters have occurred around the pipeline, which have already affected its stability. 40. The corrosion environment of the pipeline has changed; there is severe corrosion product emission in the area surrounding the pipeline, or there is sudden emission of strong acids or strong bases, and effective control has not been implemented. 41. For ultra-high-pressure and high-pressure pipelines, the distance between the outer edge of the pipeline wall and residential buildings must be at least 5 meters; for medium-high-pressure pipelines, this distance must be at least 3 meters; and for medium-low pressure pipelines, it must be at least 0.7 meters. 42. There are premises or structures where more than 30 people stay regularly, as well as pipelines that have been in use for over 20 years. 43. A combustible gas leak was detected around the buried gas pipeline.
