Which fellow sailor has the process for 2-ethylanthraquinone? I’m new to this area, so I’m hoping to find some information to learn more! Thank you all
It’s available online. I understand. Chlorobenzene is used as a solvent; ethylbenzene, phthalic anhydride, and aluminum trichloride are added for reaction, followed by washing with water. Pickling. Distill out chlorobenzene and centrifuge. Drying, 105 acid dehydration. This is just a general outline. It seems the market is doing well right now; a few days ago, an ex-colleague of mine implemented this project for a company.
