Due to the severe impact of the typhoon, the inspection ladders for the 3 tanks were blown off, and the level gauge tubes at the top of each tank were broken, creating leakage openings of about 60 millimeters. What’s more terrifying is that the bottom of Tank 1 was also damaged by the typhoon, resulting in leakage points; this led to a serious accident in which Tanks 1, 2, and 3 experienced gas phase leaks at their tops, while Tank 1 also had liquid phase leaks at its bottom.
