Is an eccentric butterfly valve considered a two-way valve?

I recently saw in the specifications that for two-way valves, leakage tests must be conducted in both directions. Is a double-direction leakage test required for triple-eccentric butterfly valves?
They should be two different things, right? Two-way valves include gate valves, plug valves, and ball valves (which, strictly speaking, also have a direction). And butterfly valves, even triple-eccentric butterfly valves, have a directionality; for reference only.
I completely agree with your view. I’m also puzzled that three-eccentric butterfly valves must have a directionality. Thank you for your reply. Happy New Year
