According to data from the Tianyancha app, China Petroleum (601857) has newly obtained an invention patent grant. Patent abstract: A device for repairing leaks in the packing of cold-wall slide valves in catalytic cracking, comprising an external packing box and a rear gland. The external packing box is of unitary construction, and its inner wall is provided with a packing chamber; the rear gland is detachably connected to the external packing box ； When the external packing box is installed together with the cold wall slide valve device, one end of the external packing box is detachably connected to the rear end of the original packing box, while the other end of the external packing box fits against the partition in the drive gearbox; furthermore, the valve stem of the cold wall slide valve passes through the interior of the external packing box. The device described in this invention can be installed on-site immediately, and its installation is simple. The operation process does not require the use of fire, thereby enhancing safety. After installation, it can ensure safe operation over a long period of time, significantly reducing the risk of substantial losses resulting from failures to repair leaks promptly. Since the beginning of this year, China National Petroleum Corporation has obtained 400 new patent approvals, a 41.34% increase compared to the same period last year. Based on the company’s financial figures for the first half of 2025, the company invested 9.899 billion yuan in research and development during that period, representing a 2.51% increase compared to the previous year.
