Are the foam fire protection pipelines in the chemical gasoline tank area considered pressure pipelines? System pressure: 1.0 MPA; test pressure: 1.5 MPA. The foam used is 6% fluoroprotein foam, with a mixing ratio of 6%, and the pipeline diameter is DN65. There is no pipe property table on the drawing either.
Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment: Pressure pipelines refer to tubular devices that use a certain pressure to transport gases or liquids. They are defined as pipelines in which the maximum operating pressure is 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or higher for gases, liquefied gases, steam, or liquid media that are flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, and have a maximum operating temperature equal to or higher than their standard boiling point; such pipelines also have a nominal diameter of more than 50 mm.
Its medium does not fall under the category of hazardous liquids that are subject to pressure pipeline regulations; fluoroprotein is non-toxic and harmless, so it does not qualify as a pressure pipeline. Additionally, normal pressure pipelines are always specified in their design drawings and pipeline specification sheets regarding their pressure class, such as GC2, and the construction of such pipelines requires supervision by a specialized inspection agency. Since none of these elements are present in your case, it cannot be considered a pressure pipeline; this can also serve as an auxiliary method for making such a determination.
