In the Shanxi region, the methanol market continued to decline, with the prevailing price ranging from 1,900 to 1,980 yuan per ton. Most enterprises in Jincheng have halted operations or reduced production; thus, the supply is limited. Today, these companies are primarily fulfilling previously signed contracts ； In Linfen, the mainstream ex-factory price dropped by 20 yuan to 1,900–1,910 yuan per ton; shipments by enterprises remained average ； In the Changzhi region, the retail price is 2,000 yuan per ton; manufacturers are fulfilling prior auction contracts ； The main contracts executed in the Lüliang region ； This week, prices in the Datong region stood at 1,980 yuan per ton. In southern Shandong, retail prices for methanol set by enterprises have been partially reduced by 10 yuan, now hovering around 2,020–2,030 yuan per ton ； Traders are quoting prices without invoices at around 2,030 yuan per ton on the whole. Demand is mainly driven by essential needs; trading activity remains sluggish. In central and eastern Shandong, the ex-works price of methanol has been reduced by 50 yuan to around 2,150-2,160 yuan per ton ； Some quotes from surrounding traders in Dongying, Zibo, and other areas have reached 2,030–2,040 yuan per ton. Market participants are adopting a wait-and-see attitude, and trading activity remains relatively sluggish. In the northern Jiangsu region, the methanol market remained sluggish and stable. The prevailing ex-works prices in the area hovered around 2,050–2,100 yuan per ton. Downstream buyers were making necessary purchases, while a cautious attitude prevailed in the market. In the Anhui region, the methanol market remained stable; trading activity was moderate, and market participants adopted a cautious stance. Some companies are shipping at around 2,050–2,100 yuan per ton. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region has weakened. In Hubei Province, the prevailing negotiation range is 2,170–2,200 yuan per ton; this represents the lower-end prices offered by major manufacturers, while some traders are quoting higher prices ； In the Hunan region, some negotiations are taking place at around 2,280–2,300 yuan per ton; these are mostly quotes provided by traders in Changsha. Some lower-priced offers still remain available. The spot market for methanol in Fujian remains quiet and stable. In Quangang, negotiations among major warehouse operators are centered around 2,200 yuan per ton; in Xiamen, the spot quote is also at 2,200 yuan per ton. Market sentiment is poor, and trading activity remains sluggish.
