On October 9, the 150,000-ton/year solid (porous) *ao acid an plant, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chuan Jinxiang, namely Xinjiang Jinxiang Sairui Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., completed its commissioning trials successfully. By October 14, the product quality met the premium standards specified in standard HG/T 3280-1990 for porous granular *ao acid an. Thus, Xinjiang Jinxiang has established a circular economic industry chain for the production of melamine from urea as a raw material – followed by nitric acid – **(liquid, porous particles) – nitro compound fertilizers. This project is an important part of the expansion of Xinjiang Jinxiang’s industrial chain for the \"100,000 tons per year of melamine production along with 600,000 tons per year of nitro-based compound fertilizers\" project. It represents a key milestone in optimizing Xinjiang Jinxiang’s product portfolio and helping the company overcome difficulties, and it is also the source of hope for sustainable development! It also filled the market gap for porous particles in the Xinjiang region. The project officially commenced engineering design on September 5, 2019, and on-site construction started on October 1, 2019. The project construction took place during a cyclical downturn in the chemical industry, facing severe challenges such as a serious shortage of funding for construction and the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Xinjiang.
