The power plant asked the factory to install flow meters, and the owner wanted imported ones; the power plant recommended Rosemount and ABB flow meters. Could anyone suggest other imported brand flow meters for comparison?
It is best to provide steam parameters to facilitate table selection. It seems that using Anouba for steam isn’t very effective; if the steam temperature and pressure aren’t high, it’s better to opt for vortex flow meters. The products from several manufacturers mentioned above are quite good.
Based on our factory’s experience, Anubis flow meters are not recommended for measurement or precise control; Piped design is recommended
The main steam pipe coming from the power plant must be of a large diameter, and it should contain superheated steam. As an Emerson manufacturer (not part of the Endress+Hauser group), for such applications, bar-type flowmeters are recommended due to their good cost-performance ratio and built-in temperature and pressure compensation. As for Endress+Hauser, WIKA, or DeltaFlow meters, it’s advisable to compare them more closely before making a choice.
Use it then; it’s the power plant that will suffer losses anyway; P

Anubaa is quite commonly used for measuring steam pipes in power plants; when used in combination with multi-parameter temperature and pressure-compensated flow transmitters, it yields good results. What’s important is that the instrument reads temperature and pressure directly, and outputs a 4-20mA flow signal through internal calculations; the system does not need to perform tasks such as square root calculations. Moreover, there is no need for separate openings for temperature and pressure, as they are built into the Anubaa
In terms of safety and accuracy when measuring steam, standard nozzles and standard orifice plates far outperform bar-type devices.
Based on personal experience, Aniuba isn’t useful; it’s not good; Vortex flow meters can be used for low flow rates, while balanced tube orifice flow meters are suitable for high flow rates
