In the normal operation of a coking plant, the excess ammonia water from the cold drum section is sent to an ammonia vaporization tower for vaporization; the resulting concentrated ammonia vapor is then used for ammonia decomposition or the production of ammonium sulfate; But the problem at present is that the residual ammonia water contains a high amount of tar, and the tar in the ammonia-vaporization wastewater can easily clog the heat exchanger at the bottom of the tower. Measures to remove tar from the residual ammonia water include air flotation oil removers and ceramic filters ; I would like to ask if there are any more efficient and practical processes for removing tar To avoid or reduce clogging in the wastewater heat exchanger? We welcome the provision of plans and data, and we will discuss the next steps for cooperation based on the situation.

Check the operation of the tar-ammonia water treatment system; under normal conditions, there should be little oil in the remaining ammonia water, and air flotation oil removers as well as ceramic filters are more than sufficient to meet the requirements
For oil removal using air flotation, it is necessary to take samples regularly to check its effectiveness; ceramic filters need to be backwashed periodically. We have been using them for over five years, and they are still performing well
A large tank for storing excess ammonia water can be built; allowing the liquid to stand and settle out tar for more than a day will certainly yield good results after passing through an air flotation oil remover and a ceramic filter.
We use the negative pressure ammonia steaming process here to steam ammonia
What is the oil content in your ammonia solution? May I ask?
Operate it normally, keep the oil level under control, drain accumulated oil regularly; there are no filters, and nothing as serious as you mentioned
