Dear experts: Our company needs to carry out an LNG storage project recently. I would like to ask you all: what would be the total cost of constructing an LNG storage tank with a capacity of 80,000 cubic meters? Including civil works, peripheral public works, unloading and filling systems, loading bays, etc. Also, is it cheaper to build two structures of 80,000 square meters each, or is it cheaper to build one structure of 160,000 square meters? In fact, the owner’s family could consider using “LNG tank containers” – a convenient storage solution that offers flexibility in filling, distribution, and sales, thereby enabling faster earnings.
