2000-ton SE-Eastern Furnaces Installed in the Zhongke Project Author/Source: Date: 2019-03-14 Clicks: 5 On March 12, two 2000-ton SE-Eastern furnaces developed by Ningbo Engineering Company of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group were successfully installed on the 34.5-story foundation of the gasification unit in the POX plant of the Zhongke refining and chemical integration project, which has a hydrogen production capacity of 180,000 Nm3/h. The two 2000-ton class SE-Dongfang furnaces developed by Ningbo Engineering Company represent an overall technical upgrade of the 1000-ton and 1500-ton class SE-Dongfang furnaces. They are also the first gasification furnace systems in China to feature a coal feeding capacity of 2000 tons per day per furnace. As one of Sinopec’s \"Ten Dragon\" technology development projects, it features greater processing capacity, broader compatibility with different coal types, a more intelligent system, and improved energy efficiency and environmental protection. It represents a reliable and stable large-scale clean, efficient fluidized bed gasification technology, and is currently the mainstream furnace type in the gasification market. The two SE-Eastern furnaces installed on that day have a net weight of 310 tons and a height of 24 meters. The lifting operation was carried out by the Lifting and Transportation Company of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group.
