On June 10, the kick-off meeting for this upgrade project was held in the conference room of the Department of Scientific and Technological Development. The sulfur recovery upgrade project is led by the Department of Science and Technology Development. It is one of the company’s key environmental protection projects for 2019, and it is also under supervision by the Central Environmental Inspection Team and the Weinan Environmental Protection Bureau. Completion of this project is required by the end of 2019, and the conditions for starting work are now in place. A detailed schedule for the project’s implementation was established at the meeting, requiring that all specifications, civil engineering drawings, and installation drawings be delivered by the end of June ； Complete the civil engineering work by the end of August ； All equipment will arrive by the end of September ； All installation work to be completed by the end of October ； Strive to complete the acceptance by the end of November. In line with the plan for that timeline, the meeting clarified the responsibilities and divisions of work among various departments. Upon completion of the sulfur recovery upgrade project, it will serve as an emergency backup system for the company’s existing 708 unit, providing strong support for the long-term stable operation of the main unit.
