Review of the Jinhua Furnace Process Package for the Energy-Saving Technical Upgrade Project of Chongqing Yihua Gasification – Author/Source: Yaha Coal Chemical Industry; Date: 2019-07-19; Clicks: 7. From July 15 to 17, 2019, a review meeting regarding the Jinhua Furnace Process Package for Chongqing Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd.’s energy-saving technical upgrade project was held at Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. Representatives from Chongqing Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd., Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Qingchuang Jinhua Technology Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. At the meeting, Jinhua Company explained to the attendees the design concepts behind the process package documents, their content and level of detail, the process technical solutions, as well as the configuration of the process flow. The representatives from the three parties conducted a thorough and careful review and discussion of the design and basic parameters of the process package, had in-depth exchanges regarding potential safety issues associated with the project, and reached a consensus on the key time milestones. The holding of this process package review meeting has created favorable conditions for the progress of work in the next phase, accelerated the project implementation timeline, and laid an important foundation for subsequent construction activities. The gasification energy-saving technology upgrade project of Chongqing Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd. adopts the water-cooled wall waste boiler gasifier (Jinhua Furnace 3.0) technology developed by Beijing Qingchuang Jinhua Technology Co., Ltd. To replace the existing atmospheric pressure fixed-bed gasification. The gasification unit operates in a two-open configuration; the gasification pressure is 6.5 MPaG, with a total gas flow rate of 80,000 Nm3/h (CO + H2). The project is located in Wanzhou District, Chongqing. Production is scheduled to begin in 2021.
