The annual maintenance and upgrade work at Shaanxi Dongxinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. will officially start at midnight on the 16th. The 2020 major maintenance and improvement plan includes 19 maintenance projects, which comprise 123 sub-projects; the goal is to complete the entire process of shutdown, replacement, maintenance, installation, and restart within 12 days. Through careful planning and scientific implementation in the early stages, all preparatory work has been completed. The maintenance tasks that can be carried out without shutting down the system have been finished, and now only the connection-related work remains for each maintenance task. At midnight on the 16th, the hydrogenation unit at the oil refining plant began to reduce its temperature and output, marking the official start of the shutdown for major maintenance and upgrades. In December 2019, Dongxinyuan Company produced 36,461 tons of oil products, setting another record after achieving the highest monthly production level in the company’s history in November. According to the production reports, in the year 2019, the company produced a total of 328,600 tons of oil products, representing a 29% increase compared to the 253,000 tons produced last year. It is worth noting that in the fourth quarter, the company produced 104,800 tons of oil products, exceeding the target of 102,000 tons set by its higher-level authorities for maintaining growth. In 2019, the company produced 1.27 million tons of semi-coke, an increase of 23% compared to 1.03 million tons in the previous year. A total of 439 million kWh of electricity was generated throughout the year, a decrease from 468 million kWh last year, but the average daily generation still reached the full-capacity level of 1.2 million kWh. On January 24, 2020, the daily output of lightened coal tar from Dongxinyuan Company’s coal tar hydrogenation unit reached 1,413 tons, breaking through the 1,400-ton mark for the first time!
