At present, these units are operating at full capacity, consuming over 8,000 tons of coal per day; the 4th series of gasifiers has been in continuous operation for more than 380 days each. To achieve efficient gasification of the coal from Zhujixi Coal Mine of Zhong’an United, which has a high ash content and high ash fusion point, a ternary coal blending method is employed in the silos used to store the coal for chemical processes. This method ensures a continuous supply of raw material to the gasification units; by mixing the coal from Zhujixi Coal Mine with two other types of coal in specific proportions, a reliable supply of raw materials is provided to support the stable, efficient, and optimal operation of the gasification units.
