On September 1, the 145-meter tall chimney of Shanxi Fuyu Coking Co., Ltd.’s 2.2 million tons per year coking project was successfully commissioned, marking the completion of the first phase of furnace drying in this project and putting it into the countdown phase before operation begins. Zhao Jinwen, General Manager of Fuyu Company, heads of various departments and workshops within the company, as well as representatives from the construction units, attended the ignition ceremony. To ensure the successful ignition of the chimney, the company made thorough plans and assigned dedicated personnel to oversee tasks such as the clearance of flue ducts, pipeline installation, and debugging. By overcoming the various challenges associated with on-site construction, everyone worked together to ensure the successful ignition of the chimney. Fuyu Coking has a production capacity of 2.2 million tons per year, using TJL5550D type 5.5-meter 4×55 ramming coke ovens ； Fuyu Coal Washing has a capacity of 4.5 million tons per year for heavy media coal washing ； Fuyu Chemical produces methanol from 200,000 tons per year of coke oven gas. Fuyu San Company is a project that is still under construction. The original developer of this project was Zhongyang County Taoyuan Cement Co., Ltd.; in 2009 it was acquired by Shanxi Liansheng Energy Co., Ltd., and now it is wholly owned by Huarong Jinshang. The project approval (approval), environmental impact assessment, and other necessary approvals for Fuyu Coking are basically in place. The first set of 1.1 million-ton capacity 2×55-chamber coke ovens at Fuyu Coking are ready for heating up, while the second set of 1.1 million-ton capacity 2×55-chamber coke ovens are ready for construction. The accompanying chemical processing facilities, environmental protection systems, and the 200,000-ton/year methanol production facility are being built simultaneously with the main coke ovens but have not yet been completed ； The utility facilities for the Fuyu 4.5 million tons per year coal washing project have been completed, and the first heavy media coal washing production line with a capacity of 2.25 million tons per year has been built and put into operation.
