On October 31, the first trial operation of the PK5130 conveyor line within the degassing air supply system of the LDPE/EVA unit as part of Yueneng Chemical’s improvement projects was successful, which provided a foundation for the trial operations of the PK5131 conveyor line and the PK5501 conveyor line. It is understood that compressed air is used for transporting the material particles in this device; the conveyor PK5130 transports the particles from the buffer hopper D5103 to the storage silo where degassing takes place. The person in charge of the device explained that over the past two months, the relevant operators have successively carried out pressure testing, purging, cleaning of the silos, and individual tests on the fans and rotary valves for the degassing air supply system. At the same time, DCS debugging work also included completing single-circuit tests and related interlock tests on schedule, thus laying a solid foundation for the successful first trial run of material transportation using line PK5130. At 15:30 on that day, the first trial run of the material conveying process using line PK5130 was successful, marking another significant progress in the project related to this equipment and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent trial runs with actual materials.
