Zhou Enli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Saiding Company, Cui Changqing, General Manager of Sinochem Saiding Coking Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Guo Yuqian, General Manager of Jiexiu Changsheng Gasification Co., Ltd., attended the signing ceremony. At the signing ceremony, the leaders of both parties congratulated each other on the successful signing of this project. The two sides also had a friendly exchange on the development strategies for the coking industry and the planning for its future prospects. Both sides stated that they will enhance cooperation to achieve complementary strengths and mutual benefit. Once operational, the project will be able to produce 250,000 tons of methanol per year and 70,000 tons of synthetic ammonia per year. The completion of this project has enabled diversified products and the most optimal processing routes for the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas, thereby significantly enhancing the competitiveness and risk resistance of coking enterprises. Hou Jianguo, deputy general manager of Jiexiu Changsheng Gasification Co., Ltd., Fan Li, deputy general manager of Saiding Company, as well as the heads of departments such as the Operations and Management Department and the Business Department, along with the project team, attended the signing ceremony. It is reported that Jiexiu Changsheng Gasification Co., Ltd. is carrying out technical upgrades to its coke ovens with a capacity of 1.8 million tons per year; these ovens have a height of 6.78 meters. The excess coke oven gas generated as a result of these upgrades will be used in a project that converts 250,000 units of coke oven gas per day into methanol for comprehensive utilization. This project is a key project in Jinzhong City for 2019, and it also serves as an important tool for Jieyou City to advance the construction of projects aimed at deepening transformation, thereby promoting the upgrading and transformation of the coking industry. The project is located in the Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park within the Jiexiu Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 1,200 mu, with a total investment of 5.798 billion yuan. Jiexiu Changsheng Coal Gasification Co., Ltd. was established in 2004 with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. It is a private enterprise that integrates coal washing, coking, coal chemical processing, and the supply of urban household gas. The company is located in Jieyou City, one of the six provincial-level coking industry clusters with an output of ten million tons each, within the Jieyou Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park in the Jieyou Economic and Technological Development Zone. Covering an area of over 1,200 mu, it has a total investment in fixed assets of 4.8 billion yuan, with a net asset value of 3.1 billion yuan; it currently employs more than 3,500 people. The company’s production capacity currently amounts to 4.9 million tons per year for coal washing, 3.1 million tons per year for coking, 1.9 million tons per year for coke production, and 300,000 tons per year for the deep processing of coal tar.
