All the static equipment for the gasification unit of Yanshan Petroleum’s 500,000 tons per year coal-based ethanol project has arrived. Author/Source: Chemical Industry Network – Coal Chemicals. On December 22, two pulverized coal storage tanks for the gasification unit of this project were successfully lifted into place; with this, all 175 static pieces of equipment for the gasification unit have now arrived. It is reported that the coal powder storage tank (1216-V-101/201) is one of the large-scale equipment in the gasification unit; it is a custom-made device on-site. The material used for this tank is Q235B, with a diameter of 5.1 meters and a height of 20 meters. Its total volume is 314 m3, and the weight of each tank is approximately 40 tons. It is located at the 66th floor of the gasification framework. For this lifting operation, a 600-ton crawler crane is used as the main lifting device, while a 250-ton crawler crane is used to assist in delivering the load. To ensure the smooth progress of this lifting operation, the personnel involved in the gasification workshop, together with the Project Management Department, the lifting company, the general contractor, and various subcontractors, held numerous consultations and discussions, as well as conducted thorough reviews and evaluations of the lifting plan, thereby ensuring the successful lifting of the equipment. To date, all 175 static equipment units for the gasification unit of the Yushen Ethanol project have arrived, which has played a positive role in ensuring the timely completion of the gasification unit.
