Once the system is put back into operation, it will consume 6.7 cubic meters of heavy oil per hour, while saving 14.2 tons of raw coal per hour. Based on recent prices for raw coal and residue oil, the economic benefits are quite significant. It is reported that to ensure the smooth commissioning of the coal-oil co-gasification system for Furnace C, the methanol center assembled key technical personnel from the gasification unit, strictly implemented the startup plan by assigning responsibilities to specific individuals, and conducted thorough inspections of the equipment involved, such as oil storage tanks and pipelines. After a series of preliminary preparations, the system successfully completed the material feeding process. After feeding the material, the technical staff optimized the operating parameters; notably, after this operation, the content of effective gases in the process gas increased by 3% compared to the pure coal mode ； The syngas equivalent produced per ton of heavy oil is equivalent to 2 tons of raw coal, which is 125% of the value established in 2016. A responsible official from the methanol facility said that to ensure the stable operation of coal-oil co-gasification, the facility has drawn on past operational experience, optimized the operating parameters of the burners, and strictly controlled the pressure and temperature at the inlet of the heavy oil pump. The center will also focus on controlling the quality of the oil at the inlet of the heavy oil pump in terms of operation management; by taking measures such as strengthening inspections of the burners and the heavy oil pump, it aims to stabilize system operation, thereby laying a solid foundation for generating greater economic benefits for the company.
